How Laser Hair Removal Works
At Radiance, we use an Ellipse I2PL Machine, which emits a light that is absorbed by the colour in your hair. It is so much more effective than older machines and gets better results on lighter hair and darker skin tones. The heat created damages the actively growing hair follicle so that it cannot regrow. This is a non-invasive treatment, meaning there is no damage to the skin and no recovery time.
How many sessions will you need?
Because only 40% of your hair may be actively growing when you come to the clinic, we recommend a series of treatments. Most people need an initial course of at least 6 treatments at 4-6 weekly intervals. However, this will vary based on the area and hair type.
