The Problem

The Problem

Acne is a distressing problem and most over the counter products do not solve the issue. Acne develops when sebum — an oily substance that lubricates your hair and skin — and dead skin cells plug hair follicles. Bacteria can trigger inflammation and infection resulting in more severe acne.

How It Works

Our Lynton laser is used in the affected area to help target and destroy the bacteria that causes spots.

We initially recommend a course of eight treatments twice a week and then thereafter will depend on the severity of your acne. We also do a variety of different treatments to treat acne and acne scarring so an initial skin consultation is advised so that we can recommend what treatment and products will benefit you the most.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I treat acne scarring?
When can I expect to see results with Laser Acne Treatment?

When acne is severe and there has been a lot of deep-seated spots the skin can be left with actual scarring. This can be of great concern and difficult to cover with foundation and cause a loss of confidence. Treatments that allow the skin to be remodelled can give amazing results.

The acne should be under control with our range of medical grade skin products and chemical peels before embarking on treating the scars.
