About Mesotherapy – Lift/Glow

Mesotherapy is a gentle but effective method of introducing active ingredients directly into the layer of your skin where it is needed with little to no downtime.

The ingredients include hyaluronic acid, which gives gentle plumping and smoothing results, peptides that stimulate tightening and lifting of the skin and peptides that reduce pigmentation and brighten the skin. This treatment will mop up the free radicals caused by stress, alcohol consumption, smoking, pollution and bring your skin back to life. One ingredient can be used to help muscles contract and relax quickly and can be used as an alternative to Botox.

The Problem

The Problem

As we age, our skin becomes dull and tired looking and along with the reduced collagen production loses its elasticity giving rise to fine lines and wrinkles. Pollution, stress, alcohol etc cause more damage and an unhealthy appearance.

How It Works

The Problem

Your aesthetician will decide on which ingredients are best for your concerns and your skin type. After cleansing the skin, our experts will use the Pistor automatic injector. This Mesotherapy cocktail is delivered into your skin at exactly the right depth to ensure all ingredients are absorbed by the skin. The fine needle also causes some ‘controlled trauma’ to the skin which further stimulates collagen production as the skin ‘repairs itself’. There is no need for local anaesthetic as the needle is very fine.

Forehead, temples, cheek, under eye area, lower cheek, upper lip, lip line and chin. Neck, decolletage and the body can also be treated.

By introducing active ingredients into the skin using a fine automated needle injector the skin is stimulated to repair and is rejuvenated and is more healthy.

Mesotherapy is suitable for all skin types and ages. The cocktail used will be formulated according to your skins needs. You may want more Lift or more Glow or both.

Because the mesotherapy products are introduced using an automated injector that delivers to exactly the right depth all our aestheticians are qualified to do the treatments. They have also all had the treatments done themselves.

A course 4-6 treatments at about 7-10-14 intervals are needed with the results continuing to improve for many months afterwards. Top up treatments are advised every 4-6 months depending on your skin and if you are using ZO skincare products, Skinade collagen supplements and which other facials you are having such as those on the treatment plans.

Book a VISIA skin scan on the app, online or call reception on 01392 277799 so that your aesthetician can assess your skin and advise what would be best for you.

Each treatment is £300.

Straight after the treatment your skin may be a bit red but this usually subsides within a few hours. There may be some fine bruising which again subsides very quickly. The skin may feel slightly dry initially. Allergies are very rare.

Avoid retinol and tretinoin products for 5 days before your treatment. We would recommend that you avoid drinking alcohol or taking ibuprofen for 24 hours before your appointment. Please let us know if you are on aspirin as this may cause bruising so please factor this in when deciding to have the treatment. Using the ZO Skincare products will also help to get your skin as ‘fit’ as possible and optimise your results.

There is little to no downtime following the treatment but there will be a little redness and some pinprick bruising. Do not apply make up in the area for 24 hours, avoid using hot tubs and hot baths for 48 hours post treatment.
