Celluma and Dermalux LED phototherapy is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment that accelerates skin rejuvenation and cell repair. LED phototherapy reboots and energises skin cells to aid rejuvenation and repair quickly. The treatment is pain-free, safe and suitable for all skin types.
As we age, due to sun damage or skin conditions, collagen production and cell renewal slows down and cells are unable to renew themselves normally. We lose 1% of our collagen every year after the age of 25. This manifests as dull, wrinkled, lax, dry or irritated skin.

We now have the latest Celluma LED light system that can be used to rejuvenate the whole body and can be used whilst having any of our facial collagen treatments.
This treatment is suitable for all skin types and skin concerns including; photo ageing, fine lines, wrinkles, acne, pigmentation and rosacea. It can also be used after most collagen stimulating treatments (such as Hydrafacial, Indba, IPL laser, Peels, Microneedling etc) to get even better results.
It can also be used to prepare the skin prior to a treatment and after a treatment to speed recovery and reduce downtime, such as Plasma pen, Microneedling and PDO threads.
Your therapist will set you up under the lights. You may use goggles to reduce the glare but these are not necessary and many clients prefer not to use them so that the benefit of the lights extends to the full eye area. The treatment will last 20 minutes.
There is no downtime at all although there may be slight overall redness as if you have exercised. This quickly subsides and you will see immediate results and more throughout your course of treatments. The skin is visibly more hydrated and bright. Irritated skin is calmer.
The Dermalux Power Plan consists of 2 treatments a week for 4 weeks then 1 a week for 4 weeks £420 = £35/ treatment. Thereafter one treatment a month is recommended.
No preparation is needed. Your aesthetician will set you up under the Dermalux face or body Celluma LED. If you are using the self-service Celluma face/neck we will instruct you.
Carry on as normal with your skin care regime and Body Retinol cream. Always use SPF with excellent UVA, UVB, HEV and IR-A protection. We recommend our ZO range.
