About
A chemical peel is a great way to start your aesthetic journey to beautiful radiant skin. Our chemical peels are formulated to penetrate into the deep layers of the skin, providing little to no peeling or irritation, leaving your skin looking radiant. Chemical peel treatments helps to stimulate cell renewal and regenerate a healthier appearance.
As we age, our skin cell turnover slows down and the skin starts to look dull and lose its youthful lustre. UVB rays from the sun can burn our skin and can leave physical damage. UVA rays however, are the more sinister ones that breakdown collagen, causing fine or deep lines, age spots, enlarged pores and poor texture to the skin. Different chemical peels can be mixed to address these issues.

FAQ
A chemical peel is a cosmetic procedure that involves applying a chemical solution to the skin to exfoliate the top layers, revealing smoother, younger-looking skin underneath. The solution causes controlled injury to the skin, stimulating cell turnover and collagen production, resulting in improved skin texture and appearance.
Chemical peels can effectively treat a variety of skin concerns, including acne, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and rough texture.
During a chemical peel treatment, the skin is thoroughly cleansed, and the chemical solution is applied to the treatment area. You may experience a slight tingling sensation as the solution is applied, which typically subsides after a few minutes. The peel is then removed after 2-10 minutes depending upon the skin concern.
There is typically little to no downtime but you may have some redness immediately post treatment and slight peeling in the days following.
We will advise the amount required at your consultation as the number of treatments needed depends on factors such as the type of peel, the severity of the skin concern, and individual skin response. Some patients may see noticeable improvement after a single treatment, while others may require a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart for optimal results.
Chemical peels can be performed on all skin types; however, the type and strength of the peel may need to be adjusted based on skin sensitivity and pigmentation levels. We will choose the appropriate chemical peel for your skin at your consultation.
